Agreement Definitions

Agreement: This document represents a legally binding contract between Port Hope Suites and the Guest. It contains rules, responsibilities, and financial terms for booking the Rental Property.
Agreement Date: The calendar date on which the Guest finalizes the booking and agrees to the terms.
Port Hope Suites: Mill Street South Holdings Inc. (operating as Port Hope Suites) is the Owner/Manager of the business.
Guest: The primary individual who made the booking and is financially and legally responsible for ensuring all occupants comply with the property's rules and policies.
Group / Occupants: All individuals, including the Guest, who enter, occupy, or use the Rental Property and/or its common areas at the invitation or permission of the Guest.
Rental Property: The specific suite, shared amenities, and common areas (stairwell, hallways) at Port Hope Suites (12 Mill Street South, Port Hope, Ontario) being reserved and occupied by the Guest and Group as a vacation rental.
Booking / Reservation: The confirmed arrangement for the Guest to rent the Rental Property for a specified set of dates, beginning with Check-in and ending with Check-out.
Check-in: The specific calendar date and time when the Guest is authorized to begin their occupancy of the Rental Property.
Check-out: The specific calendar date and time when the Guest must vacate the Rental Property, and all property access (e.g., digital lock pin) will expire.
Short-Term Stay: Any Booking for a duration of less than 30 consecutive nights.
Long-Term Stay: Any Booking for a duration of 30 or more consecutive nights.

Things to Know

Port Hope Suites uses a digital self-check-in system for a seamless, keyless experience. While Port Hope Suites do not have a full-time concierge, Port Hope Suites staff is always available for urgent assistance.

The Guest's check-in instructions, including the Guest's digital lock pin, will be sent by email and/or text message 24 hours before the Guest's stay.

Check-in: Any time after 3:00 PM.
